What is the Finland address format?

Finland Address Format one

In Finland, you need to fill in the correct address for mailing. An address in Finland can be filled in either Finnish or Swedish. The following describes the composition of an address in Finland.

1Line 1. Addressee name. (Mandatory Line)

2Line 2. Supplementary information in addition to the addressee line. (Additional Line)

4Line 4. Delivery address. (Mandatory Line)

The components of the delivery address line are the street name, the property number, the division letter of the property, and the unit number. The property number designates a location on the street, it may be a house or a group of buildings. Not all delivery addresses have the division letter of the property part, it indicates an exact building in a group of buildings, and the unit number indicates a specific unit number or room number.

5Line 5. Postcode and post office. (Mandatory Line)

Finland requires that in international mail delivery, the postal code is preceded by the ISO alpha-2 country code "FI", and connected with a hyphen. And the postal code is followed by the post office name, not the municipality name. The post office name for an address may not match the municipality name.

Tips

All Finnish addresses must include the Mandatory Line, but the Additional Line is not required.

If it is an international express, send it to Finland, you need to write the country's full name under Postcode and post office on a separate line.
